Consolidation / Reduction of Complexity

The main issue reducing the ability to adapt is complexity.

Complexity means that no person can oversee and comprehend the organization and it's interaction with the environment. As a result only local optimization can be done by single departments. Overall governance and compliance can not be measured and leaves management with uncertainty and uncomfortable feelings.
